Quite simply put, electrical testing and tagging is the process of determining weather an electrical item is faulty. Our qualified electrician will visually inspect the item then perform a series of tests including:
- Insulation resistance
- Earth Circuit test
- Earth Leakage Tests
- RCD (safety Switch) Test
This process is then followed by placing an appliance tag on the electrical item which highlights to the operator that this has been serviced and is safe to use. Information on this tag is as indicated below:
- Unique Asset ID
- Date Tested
- Re-test Date
- Person who tested equipment
- Electrical Workers License Number
- Status weather the item Passed Or Fail.
All clients will receive an asset register of all equipment that has been tested to ensure that you maintain proper maintenance records and comply with relevant legislative requirements.
